Centred in Christ, we, the Northern Pastoral Network,
gather to nurture, support and inspire
each other in our ministries.
This enables us to share ideas, initiatives and resources
to build and enrich our faith communities.

The Northern Pastoral Network (NPN) was established in 2009 in response to a request from the Council of Pastoral Renewal and Adult Faith Development of the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference.

The Network has been a valuable resource for staff members or volunteers with pastoral responsibilities within their constituent dioceses. Over the years it has contributed to enhanced communication, networking and a valuable sharing of skills and resources across the member dioceses.

The dioceses of the Northern Province are members of the Northern Pastoral Network:
Armagh, Clogher, Derry, Down and Connor, Dromore, Kilmore & Raphoe.
At first glance, you may recognise this print as The Angelus, an oil painting by French painter Jean-François Millet.
However, upon closer inspection, you’ll notice a modern city skyline in the background.
This update on a classical piece inspires reflection on the “ever-ancient, ever-new” aspect of beauty and it’s enduring impact on culture throughout the ages.
